Teaching participation

The M4R (Repair, Replace, Regenerate, Reprogram)

The M4R (Repair, Replace, Regenerate, Reprogram) curriculum is an innovative international training program that allows students to explore the latest scientific and clinical advances in 4R medicine. The program enables future healthcare professionals, biomedical engineers, and researchers to learn about new therapeutic approaches. These therapies include cell, tissue, and gene therapies, advanced biomaterials, and cellular reprogramming strategies to restore or replace degraded biological functions (more informations here).

Members of the RMeS laboratory play an essential role in the organization and supervision of this program. Angélique Galvani, Claire Vinatier, and Johann Clouet, all researchers in our laboratory, are responsible for designing and implementing the teaching programs. Alexis Gaudin, Fabien Nativel, Gildas Rethoré,Valérie Trichet et Pierre Weiss are also involved in the teaching.

By being actively involved in these training activities, RMeS members ensure that knowledge is passed on as up-to-date as possible while building bridges between fundamental research and clinical applications.

Welcoming students on internship

The members of the RMeS laboratory are actively involved in welcoming and training students by offering internships to students of all academic levels. Every year, we welcome a growing number of interns, notably as part of the M4R program, of which our laboratory is a partner.

If you would like to join our team as an intern, please send your CV and cover letter to rmes.u1229@univ-nantes.fr.

Declics

Our laboratory is involved in the annual Declics event (Dialogues Entre Chercheurs et Lycéens pour les Intéresser à la Construction des Savoirs). This event aims to raise awareness among high-school students of the processes involved in scientific research and its associated careers. By participating in these exchanges, we strive to awaken young people's curiosity about science and encourage them to explore the many career paths research offers. Find out more about this at https://www.cerclefser.org/fr/declics/.
