LIOAD (Laboratoire d'Ingénierie Ostéo-Articulaire et Dentaire/Center for Osteoarticular and Dental Tissue Engineering) - Inserm U791 was established in 2006 under the direction of P. Weiss and J. Guicheux as deputy-director. LIOAD had continued the work of the former Inserm U225 (Director: B. Kerebel) on mineralized tissues and EMI99-03 (Director: G. Daculsi) on calcium phosphate biomaterials.
